Dr. Charles Chou is a Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant Specialist board-accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr Charles Chou is dedicated to offering tailored, personalised and comprehensive care, focused on his patients well-being.

Dr. Charles Chou is also a board-certified Specialist Pain Medicine Physician accredited by the Faculty of Pain Medicine under the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. He had also participated in the pilot Procedure Endorsement Program innovated by the Faculty of Pain Medicine to solidify his clinical expertise in a wide array interventional management of pain, such as nerve blocks, joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulations, etc.

As a dual-specialist – Dr. Charles Chou is able to utilise the combination of his clinical expertise in both fields to deliver gold standard interdisciplinary pain management care and programs.

Dr. Charles Chou provides his service from Northern Gold Coast through Northern New South Wales. Dr. Chou’s special interests lies in:

Dr. Alana Kearsley is a rehabilitation physician with a fellowship from the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. She brings over a decade of experience in managing complex rehabilitation cases, with a focus on spasticity management, pain relief procedures, musculoskeletal medicine and patient-centered care.

Dr. Kearsley has worked across multiple inpatient and outpatient settings, including leading health care facilities and rural and Indigenous health services, where she is known for her commitment to improving patient outcomes. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kearsley contributes to medical education by mentoring junior physicians and presenting on rehabilitation best practices. She is committed to enhancing the standards of rehabilitative care and remains actively engaged in professional development, regularly participating in advanced workshops and masterclasses.
